Acceptance of Quotation
By accepting your quotation and signing up to our service you are contracted to a minimum of three cleans, by canceling your service and or direct debit before three cleans have been completed you will be charged the remaining balance outstanding for the 3 cleans.
First Clean
For your first clean we may charge up to double your quoted price. This depends if additional time is required to get your windows cleaned. Your Cleaner will confirm the final price to you on the day of the clean.
How Your Windows Will be Cleaned
Our pure water cleaning system is very effective at cleaning general dirt from your windows. If you have builders residue (e.g. plaster, concrete and paint etc.) stickers or adhesive, staining/discolouration on windows or frames from chemicals or rust and UV bleaching of frames on your windows, pure water will not be effective at removing these, please notify us when we call to arrange your first clean.
How Often Your Windows Will be Cleaned
We work on a various schedules. We ask for some flexibility on time scales due to external factors.
Bad Weather
We work in all weather conditions as our systems we use allow us to do so. This filtration system is used so that your windows can still be cleaned regardless of the weather. So, no matter what the weather conditions are, the same perfect result is achieved each time and if there is any problem, platinum window cleaning will return and clean your windows free of charge. We Clean all year round unless extreme conditions make it unsafe for our staff to do so.
Turning Us Away and Access
We will try to be as reliable as we can for you, but we also appreciate the customer being reliable. We will make time and space in our schedule for you. On the day of the clean, it is too late for us to replace your clean with another. We reserve the right if turning our team away at the door or cancelling on the day with our office, to charge you the full price expected and/or cancel any ongoing service with us. We also reserve the right to charge the full price expected if access on the day has not been made available by the customer.
Cancellation
If for any reason you wish to cancel our services you have the right to do so at any time up to 24 hours before your next clean. This can be done at www.platinumwc.co.uk
Complaints
We will always try to provide you with the best possible service every time we clean your windows. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work, you must contact us within 24 hours of the clean. We will then return within 5 working days to re-clean your windows for free. Please note that complaints made after 24 hours may not be re-cleaned. Please note we operate a no refund policy, we will rectify work you are not happy with free of charge provided we are informed within 24 hours of the clean date.
Payment
Customers joining our existing rounds are required to pay via our GoCardless which can be set up here. Payments are then automatically collected 5 days after each clean.
Customers booking one of the services such as gutter clearing who are not joining our regular rounds and require a one off service need to pay for their service in advance.
Dogs
We love dogs and don’t mind working around them, but we cannot work in a garden with too much dog mess therefore due to health and safety reasons your property may not be cleaned if this is the case..
Liability
Our window cleaners do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects at your property, such as, but not limited to, ill fitting windows, doors, fascias, guttering, window/conservatory trims, unsecured windows and doors, leaking seals, loose stuck on lead, decorative bars stuck on glass, rotting frames, flaking paint, open/broken trickle vents, etc.
Refusing work
Platinum Window Cleaning reserve the right to refuse certain work/jobs even if we have taken payment in advance from you for the service to be carried out. The advance payment does not constitute a verbal or written contract between us. If we refuse the work/job on sight a full refund of any monies will be paid.
